Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai boxer started her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after getting bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia's professional debut came in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA profession in the year 2002, with a win over Anara Baanova at the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She was victorious via TKO at the end of round two and her subsequent 2 matches were held during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and came back in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa by a majority vote and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina showed off her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera using knees. Antonina Shevchenko was given an UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC at her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight following her first fight via an unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the prize of the night during the bout. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 over her next three bouts she won against Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee.
