Molly Tarlov
Molly Tarlov is an American actress best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward, since the year 2011. Tarlov was born in Manhattan as the oldest one of twin daughters. As a student at the Little Red School House, Tarlov began her career as Mrs. Peterson at age 10. The show was well received by students in the 7th grade. When she grew older, she spent her summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris taking classes at NYU's Tisch. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She was able to study a range of styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also studied. At the LAByrinth Theater master class, Molly could integrate writing into acting. Molly swapped her black jacket to a pair of black sunglasses and headed towards Los Angeles. She was not long before she landed a 3-word role in iCarly that attracted the attention of her parents. Since then, she has been on TV in a variety of roles. She also created the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a basketball player who believes she's better than what she is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
